Narrative painting requires creative spiritual energy in order to give life to each painting. People often say to me they understand the stories in my paintings. This has resulted in opportunities to paint other people's cherished stories, memories and legacies through commissioned work. I studied Fine Arts at the University of Manitoba, mentored with artist Joyce Anderson and continued training with the Academy Of Realist Art in Toronto Ontario. My paintings have been juried in Regional and International competitions where I have received awards. To date, I have had two successful solo exhibitions. My work is part of corporate and private collections throughtout Canada, the United States, the Netherlands and Denmark.    Démarche artistique: My artwork goes beyond the obvious and reaches into the depths of the unspoken. Spirituality is the creative energy that gives life to each new painting. Each ethnicity represents a facade of my emotions, direction and desires. I research my main subject, live it, and feel it, until it perceives its very essence from my own life experiences.
